Hey, hi, so I’ve been reeeeeeal busy lately making a bunch of new stuff. Here we go:
J.K. Rowling and the Ungrateful Fans
I’ve written and illustrated a new satirical children’s book called J.K. Rowling and the Ungrateful Fans. It’s a story about a famous writer who was beloved by all the children in the world until years later when she and her now-adult fans diverge on her views about transgender people. The story and art are, let’s say, lovingly inspired by the works of Shel Silverstein. The book is being published by the fine folks at Stacked Deck Press. It will be released in July, and you can PRE-ORDER it now! I put a lot of work into this book and I’m really proud of it, so please do get a copy.
The Greatest Thing You’ve Ever Seen in Your Life, issue #2
The second print issue of my autobiographical comic strip (the one you are theoretically subscribed to right now) is printed and available for your purchasing pleasure. This issue is mostly comprised of some of the earliest strips from 2021, but now cleaned up, colored, rewritten, updated, and—in some cases—completely redrawn. Plus, there are some newer strips in there for good measure. And it’s got the Trader Joe’s Holiday Douche Guide on the back cover, so really you can’t go wrong. Get yours right here.
Q-Con, An LGBTQ+ Comic Con
I’m participating in Q-Con in West Hollywood this Saturday, June 17. I’ll have a table space where I’ll be selling my comics and art, including both issues of TGTYESIYL comic book. I’ll also be doing a live reading of J.K. Rowling and the Ungrateful Fans during Pride Story Hour. Yes, I’m reading the whole thing and you will love it. After that I’ll be part of the Geek Pop Crossfire panel. Be there, will be wild.
