Parts of this may or may not be based on real events. It’s totally true, however, that people do ask me hypothetical questions like this occasionally! Why me?? Perhaps they see me as a fairly grounded and reasonable trans person. Or maybe I’m just one of the only trans people they know! Whatever the reason, I humbly accept my position as the One True Spokesperson for All Things Gender. My word is Law. Thank you!
